Industry Today is Looking Forward to 2024

It’s 2024 and a new and exciting year for Industry Today. Last year we redesigned our website for Industry Today, migrating around 12,000 pages which included 12,088 published articles and 155 static pages. The team is very proud of the new design and the opportunities we can offer with our innovative and effective state-of-the-art media platform.

We will continue to bring you hot topics such as bringing manufacturing back to the U.S, the artificial intelligence (AI) revolution, sustainability, the impacts of extreme weather, the need to build resilient supply chains as well as the skills gap and the labor shortage as companies struggle to fill job openings. With a smaller talent pool than current hiring demands, manufacturers will need to be more creative than ever to attract and, more importantly, retain staff. Indeed a recent article Addressing The Labor Shortage With Innovative Hiring by Yong Kim at Wonolo tells us that 51% of manufacturing workers want more flexible work options but only 9% of manufacturing HR leaders say there is flexible work at their organization.

Another initiative that we will roll out this quarter is a new enhanced customer data platform that combines subscription management, customer data, and email and marketing automation. This will enable us to improve lead generation and spark engagement, all in one unified platform.

We look forward to continuing to highlight success stories throughout manufacturing and industry and delivering exceptional value to both our clients and our readership.
